Changes to the 0 to 8 Mental Health Collaborative
I am excited to share that the 0 to 8 Mental Health Collaborative has a new home with the McKinleyville Community Collaborative. Thanks to DHHS, Mental Health Services Act funding, Beth Heavilin will be working with the McKinleyville Family Resources Team (pictured below) providing coordination for the 0 to 8 Mental Health Collaborative and the Humboldt, Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Training Program.

HUMBOLDT IFECMH
Training: Monthly training aligned with the California Endorsement for Infant Family and Early Childhood Mental Health

Reflective Practice: Participate in monthly reflective practice groups. Receive support from practitioners from different disciplines and organizations. Think deeply about the training, content, system issues, challenging work experiences and share successes!
|
Build a Network: Join this training cohort model and build relationships over a multi-year program!

Capacitación: Reciba capacitación mensual alineada con el Respaldo de California para la salud mental de bebés, familias y la primera intancia.

This is a series that will take a deeper dive into diverse mental health related topics.
|
Who should attend? Any and all staff members that work with children aged preschool-high school. This would include: teachers, aides, monitors, counselors, behavior support, community schools staff, psychologists, outside agency partners, etc.
|
You are highly encouraged to sign up for the series, however; you do not have to sign up for every single session. Eureka City Schools staff will be able to receive a stipend for the sessions you attended.
|
$100 stipends available per session for certificated staff and pay per hour for classified staff
|

Taking a Deeper Dive into Knowledge of Parenting and Child Development
In this course participants will:

* Define what it means for parents to have knowledge of parenting and child development

* Identify actions you can take to help increase this knowledge among families you serve
